Over 1 month & multiple follow-ups, yet our new electricity connection in Howrah is still not processed by CESC Limited.

No inspection. No update.

We’ve taken long-term leased land from Kolkata Port Trust and are paying rent but cannot develop it without power.

Now after so much harassment, we got a quotation of INR 1,68,363 as service Charge for a temporary line of 2 KW.. when we went to district engineer asking for break up and so much of costing he didn't reply.. for a small connection why so much charge??

CESC had done certain underground work in front of our Main Gate digging a pakka road.. they just filled rubbish without repairing the road
