@KaiGWatson No risk signing and guaranteed engine/dirty side of the game.
Don't understand how you can be against it. Might not be excited by it but no downside
@TomFornelli Yeah all of a sudden the US midfield looks very technically limited when you against a higher quality.
Busy players who can't pass, then Tillman who can pass but isn't an athlete
@Empire1872 It's the chip in the ball isn't it, they flashed the little graph thing up like they do in cricket. But the BBC coverage just seemed to totally ignore or be ignorant to that

@TheAthleticFC Obsession with England.... But can't comprehend how Matt Ritchie didn't get more games..... Aye nae bother Michael.
Hot take article masquerading as thought out, by someone who actually understands fuck all about the wider context.
@marknelsoncomic That's s Clarke ball baby.
How he can't see playing mctominay as part of a flat 2/deep is a total waste is beyond me.
Starting a defensive game plan with zero pace was ridiculous as well.
@DuncMcKay Immense on Saturday is a stretch. He got caught out & under the ball plenty in that game as well.
Poor guy just isn't good enough, 100% effort but not at it
@eoinbyr16219444@RorySmith Suppose that's subjective based on the level or spread of football you're interested in.
But I'd say they've got a fair few recognisable players.
Having said that, they've clearly just picked a part here. But very much Dutch-style approach of keeping trying to play.
@davidjaca Let's revisit.
Scotland win at the WC for the first time in 36 years.
Flick over to the knicks, win the chip.
The giants on track to be competent.
It doesn't get better than this right now 😂
@RorySmith I was shocked at how underwhelming the atmosphere seemed in the first game. I just presumed the azteca kicking off the tournament would be going crazy.
But tbh it all looked a bit tame. Surely that's partly due to ticketing costs as well. I wonder if a lot of games will be flat
