Really long quilt blocks can be a little intimidating when you're paper piecing. A couple dabs of glue kept my fabric from sliding around. Looking forward to a quilty weekend!

Sir and I watched State of Play this weekend and were thrilled with the number of scenes that were actually shot in DC and the local "celebrities" playing themselves!

I asked Sir to help with this, and he said he's too smart to play this game! Then came up with, "The Time I Tried to Do the Thing," since I can never articulate what the "thing" is in conversation.

Whenever I get a new pair of quilting gloves, I always cut off the tips for the thumb and forefinger. I still get all the grip of the gloves but have some dexterity to do things with my fingers. #quilting #quilthack #quilttip
