I read the gospel according to John (the book of John) and I practically saw the God I've been seeking. That was how I became a Christian.

Some years ago, a Nigerian Christian man who went to Ukraine to study saw so many disheartening sights on the streets of the city on his way to and from campus.
There were many Eastern Europeans who were lost to drug addiction and other destiny-destroying vices.

This condition is the usual direction which people who find themselves without hope, freedom, the right to dream and pursue their dream head in human reality.

They ask questions about purpose and destiny. They know they were created for a purpose, but when the environment is not conducive to the purpose of fulfilment, escape becomes the haven of the weary.

In many cases, drug addicts get into the habit to escape the disturbing reality they face in real life. I should be more, become more, do more, do better, be better, and achieve something meaningful with my life are valid questions every individual poses to himself or herself at one point or another in this world.

These internal struggles, especially when there are no obvious answers or hope of an answer, would usually lead people into vices.

There are several ways to ease this condition; you cannot help every individual to fulfil their destiny. That duty is sancrosanct and personal, but you can offer a conducive environment for their aspirations to find an expression and a possible route to fulfilment.

The government is usually expected to do this. Create an enabling environment for the citizens to become whatever it is that they aspire to be.
When the government fails to do this, the citizens become frustrated, and the end result is that some of them would seek thrills and escape through drugs.

This was the condition in Ukraine in the 90s. The young Nigerian man was, however, a Christian. He understood that there is a divine destiny that does not need government policy to find fulfilment. This destiny is in Christ, not religion!

He began to witness to the drug addicts on his free days. He would show them love, assure them they could beat the trappings of their drug problem and show them the power of the word of God in rehabilitating them and setting them on the right path.

Within months, he had a group of people who believed in his message of hope and thronged to him on campus and on the street.
This was how he started a church.

Eastern Europe had been under the heavy influence of the Soviet Union and its "No God" policy for several years.
The government was at first skeptical of this young man's moves, but they turned a blind eye when they realised that he was curing the ills in their society and getting a lot of people off their drug habits.

The gospel he preached was Christ.
What Jesus came to do
What Jesus has done
The implication of what Jesus has done for every man and woman
What the Holy Spirit has come to do for anyone who believes in Jesus and accepts HIM as Lord and Saviour
The power that the believer has from the moment he or she becomes anointed with the power of the Holy Spirit
The supernatural life and realities of every believer.

This gospel was revolutionary in a country that had long declared that God was dead.
It changed the lives of millions of people.
The news of the exploits of this man went global within a few years
Many pastors started using him as an example to their missionaries and young pastors
His church was full of "White" folks who had valid testimonies and infallible proofs of their transformative destinies in Christ.

This pastor then came to Nigeria to see some of the biggest ministries in Nigeria and learn one or two things from them.
He didn't write to any of them to introduce himself
He wanted to attend their services as a believer and glean from the wealth of their knowledge.
His experience was shocking.

He saw that Nigerian pastors at the highest level were not preaching the gospel
They were teaching people about family battle, evil pattern, evil arrow, family deliverance, witches, witchcraft, voodoo, juju, sorcery, divination, glory thief, dream life, spirit husband and spirit wife, Queen of the coast, village people, enemy of Father's house, Strongman of mother's house, quarterly deliverance, fasting for anointing, seed sowing to be able to prophesy and all sorts of things that filled the minds of their members with the consciousness of the devil, evil and darkness and nothing of any value about Christ and His finished work on the cross.

He couldn't hold back his criticism, which was posted all over social media and YouTube.

A lot of Nigerian Christians have, through the teachings of these so-called pastors embrace a strange mindset full of fear and unproductive activities, which has become a substitute for the drug addiction epidemic he saw in Ukraine when he travelled there as a student.

Prayer books were being written and sold to people who then end up learning all these demon-inspired prayer points that have nothing to do with their destiny in Christ.
He bought some of the books and saw prayer points like "Every market where my glory is being sold at night, I shut you down" and so on.
How do prayers like this inspire the believer to walk in the fullness of the power of the gospel?
How can any demon ever aspire to sell the glory of the believer, which Jesus gave to Him in John 17?
Will a demon sell the glory of Jesus?

The way these pastors interpret the bible to their congregation is so twisted that it has produced a morbid and gory mindset in their members.
This mindset then reinforces what they were being taught in their dreams and life experiences.

These Christians suspect everybody of trying to hurt them or being possessed and are quick to run to their pastors for deliverance, even though they are full of the Holy Spirit and should be the LIGHT delivering the unbelievers from darkness.

The final blow was how the believers don't know they are saved and are always begging God to count them worthy of salvation or entry into heaven instead of acknowledging that they have eternal life and have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Unfortunately, the religious industry in Nigeria is a trillion Naira juggernaut that cannot be stopped.
The church leaders continue to milk members by preying on their fear of the enemy, an imaginary evil forces and the wrath of God.

The believers in the Bible were addressed as SAINTS in all the epistles, but the believers in Nigeria are always praying and begging for forgiveness of sin because they see themselves as sinners.

It was as if the leaders of the churches in Nigeria deliberately set up their ministries to teach a distorted version of the gospel so that their members would never really enjoy the liberty and power that Jesus purchased for them with his blood.

Sin consciousness, devil consciousness, enemy consciousness, evil consciousness, and hell consciousness were what the average Nigerian Churches feed their members.
No wonder they are so powerless.
Some of them are scared of cats, cockroaches, wall geckos, snails, and other things, and often attribute evil omen to these things if they see them in real life or in a dream.

PS: The average Nigerian Christian should pick up the Bible and read it plainly for themselves.
Read with the mindset that the word was written to show you who you are and your true destiny in Christ.

Once you discover the truth, throw away all the books, teachings, and totems reinforcing your old belief system.
Flush your system by praying in the Holy Spirit and reading the Bible daily.
You will find your body full of light and your spirit ascending into the places predetermined for you in Christ in no time.

@GbengaWemimo Yes, I totally agree with him breaking it off even on the wedding day. There are so many with failed marriages who wished they had broken things off before the wedding. Some people survive it but some don’t. God help us 🙏🏼

When his case was first reported, I reached out to him on X via DM trying to find out if he is innocent of the allegations against him
He blocked me immediately
Yesterday, another victim of his came into my DM on WhatsApp to cry for divine intervention.
I am posting this as a warning to all his other potential victims
Block his handle, unfollow him, repost, and expose him
His recent victims said they searched for his name online, and they couldn't find anything suspicious
They fell victim because his other victims had been silent about his evil deeds out of fear
When I searched, I discovered that @adesojiminkhail had posted about some of his antics on 10/5/2022 at 5:55 pm
Since then, he has not been arrested, and he is still doing his evil under the cover of anonymity
Please let us expose him
I have reported him to X officially.
I would like others to please do the same
I have also spoken to lawyers and security operatives
Many of them claim it is Moniepoint that is still one of the few platforms where fraudsters and criminals operate with impunity
I don't want another person to fall victim to him; this is why I am making this post to clear my conscience and perhaps save another innocent person from falling victim to his evil antics.

@GbengaWemimo Going by scriptures, the Lord did not give that kind of power of a wife over her husband. I think the Pastor needs a reawakening to first his identify as a child of God and fulfilling God’s plan for his life. The Holy Spirit is able to help him if he completely let Him.

To that person who is depressed, there is so much to live for. Look outside of yourself and intentionally put a smile on someone’s face today. You could help the aged maintain their lawn, help a mother with her child‘s care, help with a neighbor‘s hospital bill, and so on………

Breaking Trauma’s Stronghold

Met a lady a few years ago
She said she goes everywhere with a condom in her bag
I asked her why
She said that while she was somewhere in Ogun State for NYSC, she took a bike from one location to another
During the ride, the bike man veered off into the forest, pulled out a knife, and told her to take off her clothes
She said there was no point in fighting or screaming
She did as she was told and prayed the bike man won’t kill her afterwards
She said when the man was done, he jumped on the bike and left her in the forest
She found her way back to the city
The only fear she had was getting pregnant or catching an STD
She said she got to the hospital, got her system flushed, but still had to wait for two weeks to be sure she was in the clear
It was the most anxious two weeks of her life
She said she would rather not go through that again
So she got some condoms and put them in her bag so that if she ever found herself in that situation again, she could beg the rapist to please use it instead of putting her through that stress again
I felt pretty bad that a rapist could have that kind of power over someone, even after the deed had been done
I asked her if she believed that the Holy Spirit could give her closure on the issue
She said she believed
So we prayed.
I asked the Lord to bring the rapist to Justice and please do it in such a manner that the sister will know it.
A few days later, my sister called me and spoke about a TV show on crime
She said she was cooking when the show came on, and some criminals were being paraded
One of them was a rapist, and he confessed to raping people using his motorcycle
What convinced her that the rapist was the one captured was her ID card, which they found on him
This was seven years after the crime.
She asked me what I think she should do
I told her we would go to the TV station and ask the reporter to help us with the location of the rapist
We went to see the reporter
She told us all we needed to know
Then we went to the police station and were allowed to see the criminal
He recognized her immediately!
He started begging for forgiveness and asking her not to show up as a witness against him in court
She looked at him and laughed.
That was the end of her trauma
She walked out of that station with her power and dignity completely restored
All the things she had to adjust her life to accommodate due to fear and trauma were solved
She had moved back to her parents’ house, taken up a teaching job close to her parents’ house, and was afraid of going anywhere alone or at night
Within a year after she got closure, she had moved to Abuja, gotten a job with an NGO, and was able to go wherever she wanted whenever she wanted.
She got free of trauma not by “die by fire” prayers, which are totally ineffective, but through the power of the Holy Spirit and the wisdom of God applied in the form of making her confront her fears and gaining dominion over them.
I know another young man who has an aunt who sexually molested him for years as a young boy
One would expect that after many years, he would have forgotten all about the sexual molestation and moved on, but this was not the case
Because the boy’s aunt was big in stature, he would suddenly have panic attacks whenever he found himself in close proximity to ladies who were very big in stature
Whenever any lady became nice and friendly towards him, he became suspicious and would not welcome any gesture of friendship
His friends noticed his hostility towards women who were just being friendly towards him and told him he was overreacting in his response to them
He never knew how bad it was until a lady in his office came to whisper something in his ear while he was sitting behind his desk, inside his cubicle
He didn’t see the lady coming, and the huge body mass of the lady made him feel as if the lady was trapping him and leaving him without a way of escape from his cubicle
He began to hyperventilate and found it difficult to breathe
He had to be rushed to the hospital
When the doctor eventually got around to talking to him, he was told it was all in his head, and physically, he was okay and shouldn’t have had such a severe reaction to anyone coming into his personal space
He decided he would have to conquer whatever it was so that he wouldn’t be embarrassed the way he was again by his psyche
He asked the Lord to heal him in the place of prayer
The Lord showed him a picture of him, lying on top of his aunt in a bathtub, who was stark naked, while the aunt was encouraging him to suck her breasts and put his hand in the most intimate part of her body
He remembered clearly that his aunt was always bathing him or bathing with him when he was young, and most of the time, the things he did with his aunt were unprintable
He also remembered that they were caught one day, and the person who saw them was livid with anger and promised to report what he saw to his parents
Before his parents returned from work that day, his aunt had packed all her clothes and books and fled without saying goodbye
The emotional attachment he had with his aunt and the sudden abandonment then caused him some deep emotional damage, which he didn’t even know was there
Once he realised the cause of the issue, he was able to consciously work on it through prayer, making his declaration and talking to his body.
When you see how traumatic experiences ruin some people’s lives, you will understand how powerful trauma is and why you have to heal from it in order to live a life devoid of fear.
Two young people met and wanted to get married
The man had an abusive father who terrorized his mother and the children all their lives
The lady had been raped several times by cousins and uncles and was a mess by the time she clocked eighteen
Their relationship was affected deeply by both their backgrounds, and they had to break up after only two months of being together
When the lady approached me for help and shared what she had been through in life with me, I decided to have a conversation with the young man
After speaking with the young man, I came to the conclusion that neither of them was fit to have any form of relationship until they had exorcised the demons they were both battling within.
If you are traumatized as an individual, either from domestic violence, living with people with anger issues, toxicity and sexual violence of any kind, don’t just sweep it under the carpet
Your best therapist is the Holy Spirit
Find the time to sit with him and have a heart-to-heart conversation
He will heal you completely and repair every form of damage to your psyche and mind
