'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' is so popular even Sony CEO Tom Rothman's nephew called him asking to help him find tickets in NYC.
“My nephew was begging, ‘Uncle Tom, get me a ticket!’ and I had to tell him that there was nothing I could do. He complained I was useless, but I’ve been called worse things,” he said with a laugh.

i just heard someone on TikTok say “this is the first time in history women are dating men for their character. and that’s why no one is dating.” and she was right.
Tom Holland revealed that he wasn't a fan of the original script for 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day.'
According to Holland, the film was initially planned as another Multiverse-heavy story, with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield returning alongside multiple Venom Symbiotes.
However, he pushed for a more grounded, street-level direction, believing Spider-Man works best when dealing with crime in New York and interacting with heroes like Punisher and Hulk instead of another Multiversal event.
That creative shift ultimately helped shape the final version of the film.

I at least need 3-4 more movies with them together before they move on to someone else. We finally have an amazing actor/director duo with a director that has an insane visual vision and I need MORE of that.
‘SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY’ is tracking for a $167M - $173M opening day at the domestic box office.
Surpassing ‘AVENGERS: ENDGAME’ as the biggest opening day ever at the domestic box office.
In the right eyes, we're always enough.
So if someone's words make you question your worth, gentle reminder that the wrong ones are their eyes, not your whole being.
Warner Bros lost $50 million on Tenet. Then they made a decision that has sent $1.2 billion to their rival Universal so far.
Tenet came out in September 2020, mid-pandemic. It made $365M on a $200M budget. Not enough.
Warner Bros panicked. Three months later they announced every 2021 movie would go straight to HBO Max the same day it hit theaters. They didn't warn a single director.
Christopher Nolan had made them The Dark Knight, Inception, and Interstellar over 20 years. He said filmmakers went to bed working for the greatest studio and woke up working for "the worst streaming service."
Then he took his next movie shopping. His asking price was simple. Pay for the film, promise it plays in theaters only, and give me 20% of every ticket.
Universal said yes. That movie was Oppenheimer. $976 million. Best Picture.
Warner Bros begged him to come back. He said no. His new film The Odyssey just opened to $264 million, the biggest debut of his career.
The cheapest thing Warner Bros ever lost was $50 million.
il motivo per cui io sono così ossessionata da loro é che é così palese che da quando lui l’ha vista per la prima volta ha completamente perso la testa lui guarda solo lei SEMPRE e la tratta come se dovesse conquistarla anche dopo averla sposata
Ladies, imagine someone doing your cooking, cleaning, running errands & endless invisible domestic labor. Imagine how much TIME that would free up for your career and hobbies. For the average male, that IS their reality. Then they turn around and claim women "contribute nothing."
oh look at me! i’m tom holland, i’m having two major movies releasing back to back, i’m married to the most beautiful woman in the world and she’s laying on my lap, and my curls look amazing! fuck you
It’s funny because white women say this but never create female only spaces the way Arab women do. We were mocked for women only swimming sessions, women only dance parties, gyms, field trips etc etc. Yall don’t know how much fun we have when men aren’t allowed in.
