Oh, this wasn’t missed, it just wasn’t immediately reported. The global weather monitoring systems are redundant and highly accurate. I’m more confident analysts have known for days…ask a better question of the situation perhaps. Like how come just 18 months ago five day forecasts were available to the general public for free; now, even NOAA has parts of the map blocked out, and if you want deeper projections, you have to pay for the service. No human being should have to wait for a global network service to inform them about the safety of their lives when it comes to hurricanes.
