It’s very obvious that Ariana grande has an eating disorder lol she is constantly in the spotlight and if she didn’t want to look like that, her and her team would sure she didn’t. Her beauty is a major part of what sells so she obviously thinks that looking underweight is ideal. But a celebrity can be mentally unwell too, why wouldn’t she want to feel good about her body if her brain has genuinely convinced herself that this is the standard. She feels beautiful now, It’s how the illness works and you can’t expect someone to happily do something that makes them feel ugly (gain weight) until they start believing that a different standard is beautiful, she is not a bad person for having an eating disorder we need to practice compassion + the responsibility of women’s body image issues does not fall on her alone
