2 months into their fwb relationship and taehyung does not particularly care a lot about jungkook. they have a mutually casual relationship.
that is, until he finds out about his secret.
“But you said you were not dating.” Jaehwan furrows his eyebrows. “In the process?” He leans against the kitchen door.
Jungkook hums. “I’m not even sure anymore.” He just smiles.
People wait for someone to share all of their firsts with, but Jungkook, he realises he really does want to share all of his lasts with Taehyung.
And if it meant getting to love him and receiving that love in return, he surely won’t let go.
—but for the fear that you might push me away.” Taehyung gulps, pulling back from Jungkook’s hold. “Do you love me?”
Jeongguk cups Taehyung’s face and looks straight into his eyes, his own gaze softening so lightly. “Ever since you told me you’ll live my last year with me.”
“Jae straight up told me I was stupid when I told him that, you know?” Jungkook laughs again.
“I think you would be the brightest star.” Taehyung says, voice almost close to a whisper.
“It’s weird.” Taehyung says, eyes moving to meet Jungkook’s.
“Did you get attached to me already?” Jungkook smiles a little, putting his own hand over Taehyung’s, feeling the beat of his heart as well. “Huh.” He thinks. “It is weird. To think that one day it will stop beating.”
when Jungkook suddenly leans in and grabs hold of his neck, leaving a quick kiss on his lips.
“I wanted to kiss you.” Jungkook grins.
Taehyung lets out a scoff and pushes Jungkook away. His gaze lands on the paper and he scrunches it up before throwing it on a bin.
“Because I realised I don’t want to live my life while limiting it to a list.” Jungkook says, smiling a little. “There are things I want to do, some more may get added and it’s just a constant cycle of doing one thing and wanting to do another.”
but none-the-less, Jungkook,” Taehyung leans back and stares at Jungkook, a small smile on his face. “I won’t let you feel lonely. This year that you have left, I’ll live it with you. Okay?”
“It’s scary because it’s lonely. I thought I’ll be fine keeping it to myself, to not be bothersome and not let people feel confused with how they should act or be around me. But it is lonely and I don’t know what I should do. I don’t want to die.”
