@stevebowyer84@jacksb7 Now this is the point in which Telford have to hold their hands up. Been banging on about that for so long. The whole match day experience is poor compared to all the away grounds I go to. The communication from the club is also poor which doesn't help
With an admin charge on the day you are looking at 19 quid an adult for national league north. I get the club has it's costs but for non league football it's getting to be close to the cost of championship level pricing. Plus will still be shit beer and food on offer ๐

@jacksb7@stevebowyer84 It used to be a much cheaper alternative. Now it's about the same price and with the kids being the same or if not more expensive how do you convince a young kid to go to Telford in NLN instead of a local club in the championship.
@jacksb7@stevebowyer84 I'm just using wolves as an example as a supporter and a local club. Look at west brom. Tickets are around ยฃ20 an adult. These are championship level clubs. I'm not blaming Telford on the whole it's more about the cost of non league football in general.
@jacksb7@stevebowyer84 Where they would want to go and spend their money. Couple that with the fact prices are constantly going up and match day experience isnt following suit, it will not exactly help boost the crowds needed
@jacksb7@stevebowyer84 Oh I don't dispute that at all. I also don't think it's just Telford with their pricing. Non league ticket pricing is getting outrageous. It's more the fact that non league and higher end football pricing is getting too similar and for some people that might make them consider
@stevebowyer84 If I got me and my 2 lads season tickets at wolves it would work out to 35 quid a game at their age points. If I bought us all a match day ticket at Telford on the day for us 3 it would be 33 quid. I know season tickets would be cheaper but still most most buy on the day
@StevenCross81@telfordutd I think a lot of non league clubs have the right idea. Big clubs get tied to big contracts with well known brands. Smaller clubs have more flexibility surely. I'd love the car park to have some food vans or something on match day to get food before you go in.
@stevebowyer84@telfordutd Think the expectations have just got so high now. Even if we don't make the playoffs this has been an unbelievably successful season
@LukeF125@StevenCross81 Yeah it's much easier for the club to just allow someone to do it. Just wish they would put some care into it and maybe offer some better quality food. Oh and beer ๐
Well against better judgement went back here again tonight. Shocking. I wish I could see it through the eyes of my son who is so in awe of the place just like I was 30 years about but that magic has been ripped out and soul of the place destroyed along with shit football
The modern metrics of rating a keeper are nuts. I get the game is more than just shot stopping but if Raya is -1.6 and donnarumma is +2.91 how can distribution and sweeping through balls make you better? Raya is a great keeper but let's face it he's not close to donnarumma #MNF
