Just finished a 12 hour drive to South Carolina on my way to Florida. Jumped on here and saw the Anthony verdict came down.
The only people Iโm praying for and hoping they find a level of comfort regarding this decision is the Metcalf family. Theyโre going to have to grieve their son for a long time. Iโve held sobbing mothers. Itโs heartbreaking.
Karmelo Anthony made a decision to stab someone and was charged and convicted of it. This isnโt an example of racial bias or some sort of injustice in the legal system. This isnโt โsystemic racism.โ Anthony did an evil thing and is facing the consequences of it.
I donโt feel sorry for him at all.
Braden Montgomery is just the second hitter in the last 50 years to hit a walk-off home run in extra innings on their MLB debut.
The other? Miguel Cabrera.
JB Pritzker: "You know that gas tax I've raised from 19 cents to 48.3 cents per gallon? I've temporarily paused the next 1.3 cent increase until after the election. You're welcome." ๐
(Also, he's lying. He didn't eliminate the inflationary increase. He delayed it for 6 months.)
RAW VIDEO: I Cornered Pritzker About The Chicago Bears โ And He Refused To Answer ๐จ
I went to Gov. Pritzker's presser today and here's what happened:
Gov. Pritzker said he didn't want taxpayers spending billions to help a billionaire family keep the Chicago Bears in Chicago. But he's a billionaire himself. ๐ฐ
And he's been more than happy โ even proud โ to spend billions of taxpayer dollars on illegal aliens.
So I asked him: "We all know the Bears generate revenue. Illegal aliens typically are a drain on taxpayer dollars. Do you think long-term, especially when you're running for President of the United States, losing the Chicago Bears will be a bad decision?"
Pritzker refused to answer. Instead, he blamed Greg Abbott and defended spending billions on illegal aliens.
So I followed up: "Would those taxpayer dollars have been better spent on American citizens?" Pritzker refused to answer that, too.
When a governor can't answer a straight question from a reporter, taxpayers should ask themselves why. #thatreporter
Dems have spent a DECADE calling President Trump a "Nazi" & smearing him with false allegations.
Today, they can't find the moral courage to oppose a guy with a literal Nazi tattoo & *credible* abuse allegations.
I want you to pay close attention to everyone who is rushing to Graham Platner's defense. Realize who and what we're dealing with here.
If you aren't paying attention to the Board of Education elections, start.
Here is one big reason: Hilario Dominguez.
In an interview with WGN, Dominquez, who has been anointed by the CTU for BOE president, admits he will not consider closing underenrolled or underutilized CPS buildings if elected.
Rather than considering precious school funds wasted, Dominguez brazenly reveals how CTU's priority is preserving jobs at underenrolled schools when mentioning "cafeteria workers, crossing guards, and bus drivers."
This means schools such as Douglass Academy, which was built to accommodate 900 pupils but enrolls 28, would remain open if Dominguez were to be elected BOE president.
Operational spending per student at Douglass is $93,000. Not one single student enrolled at Douglass can read.
Today, 47 CPS schools operate at below a third of capacity.
Tens of millions could be saved if underused schools were consolidated or closed.
