@Johnbrown1860 @NKCDC Yeah—a lot of the entry level workers in the drug economy are youth. And when you get teens shooting teens it’s not because they’re born murderers. It’s because they’re in a system where money, coercion & fear turn neighborhoods into a war zone. You will never get to 99%.

@Johnbrown1860 @NKCDC I’m not saying more cameras or investigative staff wouldn’t help—I there will be many parts to any real solution—but this makes it sound like there are a fixed number of “bad” people, and if you just catch them everyone else is safe. But that’s downstream thinking IMHO.

@StreetsDept This is an good question. Does a flag represent the diverse people of a country, the government or military of a country, both, or something else? Do Americans understand why the U.S. flag was burned during the Iraq invasion? Does anyone think about a symbol after it’s gone?
