@iamnotafrog5959@joshdubnau@IBJIYONGI You must at the very least accept that Israel is committing ethnic cleansing in Gaza. They have completely displaced people from Northern Gaza and are now bombing Southern Gaza, which is where people fled.
Many marginalized folx have realized that Netanyahu is redefining a blueprint that could have huge impacts outside of Palestine and Israel.
Our solidarity and voices are important to the plight of Palestine and their lives - but also in ways I don’t think we have quite realized.
@Carmen50@IDoTheThinking@lwoodhouse At this rate of civilian casualties, it’s obviously not in Palestinians’ best interest. And Palestinians are who matter most here because they are the most impacted in terms of loss of life, freedom, and infrastructure.
Protecting Palestinian civilians is “both a moral responsibility and a strategic imperative,” says Defense Secretary Austin, otherwise they will be driven into the arms of Hamas.
I said this on the @MehdiHasanShow last month. Glad the Biden administration is finally catching up.
@AppFanfiction He came to the US at age 5 traveling from Hungary with his older brother. They entered the US from Canada and ended up in Chicago. Pretty much the only thing I know about him
@McCaineNL I’ve seen a lot of queer people converting to Judaism; not so much the groups you’re describing. But do they really have as large an impact as here? It takes like a year to go through the whole conversion process, so those who don’t really want it don’t finish the process, right?
We must take seriously the idea that none of us are free until all of us are free, and to understand that the “us” includes Palestinians.
This means rejecting the supremacist logic of liberal Zionism, writes @IBJIYONGI. https://t.co/Z47u73QQp6
@DestaAmora2648@YuvalMimi@Usernametood@andyayalla Dude. I’m Ashkenazi. I know my people’s history. Like, you can look through my profile and see the number of times I’ve informed European Christians about their antisemitism (both current and historical)
@DestaAmora2648@YuvalMimi@Usernametood@andyayalla Sure, but to say that Ashkenazi Jews had it worst and then offer up a non-Ashkenazi example shows just how uninformed you are about the whole topic
@DestaAmora2648@YuvalMimi@Usernametood@andyayalla Dude, you’re just showing you know nothing about Jews. The Jews persecuted in Spain were Sephardic. And there’s a huge record of persecution, forced conversion, murder, and exile of both Ashkenazi and non-Ashkenazi Jews.
@ZebraBimbo It’s taken me a bit to cut out Zionist propaganda (which is wild considering I’m a HHO Jew who never went to Jewish summer camp or participated in Hillel). Now I just report the hateful accounts and listen to the people who are fighting for their freedom and their lives.
@ZebraBimbo But they aren’t the movement and certainly not the majority of people actually being affected by Israel’s actions. Palestinians just want their rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness like anyone else.
