The number of predictable tweets about how this should be merit based. The fact not one Indigenous person with a psych degree has EVER sat on the APS board let alone been APS President-yet no alarm bells ringing there. Ppl seem very comfortable with this idea that non Indigenous psychs are so much more talented; plus magically have the critical cultural skills necessary to ensure better uptake of psych services into Aboriginal communities who continue to make up most of the critical psych needs.. we compete everyday with non Indigenous psychs & more than hold our own thanks

@lesstenny There is a bottleneck exiting Sydney international airport narrow access points, no signage, no customer service staff to help elderly, people with children or language barriers. Queues that lead to broken terminals blocking walkways. Confusion everywhere. Embarrassing and sad.

.Deadly you make me want to go back and do postgrad psychology. I still remember the trauma of appealing a fail of 1 mark in ANU undergrad. Two hr negotiation got 1/2 mark on two exam questions. Wouldn’t consider lab report. Took me seven years and two kids to finish my degree.
