@GHDD12345789014@DestinyBulletn Outside of the color inversion where void's purple turns to strand's green, the descriptions are opposites as well. Strand is about a subconscious connection of all life and unraveling that connection. Void is about siphoning life to suppress or reduce to nothing.
@catofthings@RiloeGaming I do think arena would be fun, but the execution would be hard to pull off. Hopeful for a dedicated PvP mode. I love Bungie PvP and I bounce between both games a lot. Good ideas and fun to talk with you. See you starside.
@catofthings@RiloeGaming I don’t know if Arena would be popular. Tarkov did that and did Ref for the main game, but I never found myself branching into either. Maybe it’s just that Arena wasn’t handled to my tastes at the start and Ref never provided anything interesting enough to incentivize me.
@catofthings@RiloeGaming They are working on a PvE mode and I’d love for more content in Marathon, but an entire overhaul is too costly, risky, and would kill the current identity and fanbase. At least that’s what I feel like would happen.
@catofthings@RiloeGaming Reworking Marathon entirely isn’t going to solve anything. Destiny players won’t play marathon if it turned into Destiny. It’ll build more resentment in the “just make destiny” camp. Current Marathon players would leave if it became something completely different. (4)
@catofthings@RiloeGaming Unfortunately it will cost too much to make a D3. With D2 development estimated in the hundreds of millions despite being a reworked D1, the cost of D3 will be much higher. They won’t just reuse D2 engine, especially after stating it was too old to do all the stuff planned.
@o0WILKY0o Holy shit this is good. Didn’t know they gave hunters a skull. Might have to use my hunter for the first time since lightfall to take this or maybe do hell rider.
@D2LostSector@CaptainRelyk@TheOneAndTheAll@Aztecross The other guy blocked me so I have to reply here, but this is Onepeg stating that it is twitch setting the guidelines. He is a twitch partner with more insight than on this. He is saying it’s Twitch who set these guidelines, so this is even less of DMG’s issue to comment on.
Everyone thinks that these rules are Bungie setting them.
This is Twitch setting the guidelines as a 3rd party middleman.
Also this is boiler plate verbiage. EVERY campaign has a bulleted list which almost always includes stuff about “not being negative” among other things
@TheOneAndTheAll@D2LostSector@CaptainRelyk@Aztecross Respectfully, don’t @ people in this. It is not DMG’s nor twitch’s job to comment on everything that pops up. We shouldn’t drag DMG into discourse, especially when he is trying to enjoy Destiny’s final flight. He deserves better and tagging people won’t help. See you starside.
@TheOneAndTheAll@D2LostSector@CaptainRelyk@Aztecross The retweeted post was stated to be a twitch bounty. They pay creators to stream different games and set the guidelines on those bounties. You can see it in the replies if you check the OG post. Onepeg, another creator, also said that it is twitch and Azte knows this isn’t bungie
