Unbelievable, the closest we’ve come to witnessing history. Another tough loss for the Boilers and another watch that ends unanswered. Keep the faith folks, JBC’s days of standing alone in the record book are numbered!
The other was the Army-Navy game. O/U was 28.5 and Navy couldn't punch it in on their final drive after a points bonanza in the 4th. Game ended on a kneel down safety in the end zone to close at 28
@BarstoolBigCat@stoolpresidente@Barstoolpickem the SJSU bad beat reminded me of two games from last year. Wyoming-Colorado State, O/U was 43.5, and Wyoming returned a fumble 61 yards to the 3-yard line with 3 minutes left...went for it on 4th and still couldn't score
@BarstoolBigCat@PFTCommenter I think the reason it's pronounced pre-vent defense is to remind fans to start complaining before the play even starts about how stupid of a strategy it is to leave guys wide open 20 yards downfield
@guiney15@theaceofspaeder Logging in for the first time in a while and it feels good to be welcomed back with a nice "Barry Bonds was truly otherworldly stat". Some things never get old
Boilers remain undefeated in the tourney when I’m in the building (2-0). I guess it’s time to go in some serious debt for the stretch run, because we’re on to Detroit #BoilerUp
March 24, 2001: @TigerWoods drains a 60-foot putt for birdie on the 17th hole on Saturday during The Players Championship at Sawgrass. Gary Koch and Johnny Miller on the call.
“Better than most!”
He would go on to win the tournament.
Hey @BarstoolBigCat, as an AWL I believe it’s my duty to let you know this information (since that referee is on today’s crew). As a Purdue fan, I also hope it doesn’t come true again #Fair
Alright - so here's the update
In the last 27 games with a certain ref, Purdue is 4-23 (14.8%) against the spread and 11-27 (28.9%) in the last 7 seasons.
If you bet against Purdue to cover (1 unit at -110), you'd be +16.9 units in the last 27 games.
