I’ve read online that Light could represent Japan’s “lost generation”
In the 90s and Early 2000s a lot of young men around Light’s age who were fresh out of school found themselves in an economy with no jobs and any source of stable income
With a lot of them turning to violence
Apply that to Light’s lack of fulfillment despite everything he does and turning to killing for purpose
That's the whole point, monsters can come from even the happiest and safest backgrounds because everyone is reachable to evil... especially if they think they're doing good.
As a black nerd especially a black man nerd, if you’re still hitting black nerdy woman with the “y’all use to bully me speech” in the big 2026, respectfully let it go. It’s over the same group of people who talk down on you back in high school isn’t the same group of ppl-
@LegoKingo In essence, Netero was a false Buddha, while Meruem was a true Buddha. Meruem’s journey of becoming either great ruler or great teacher also reflects Siddharthas story.
@LegoKingo@amoogus2 IMO this is a strong theme in the netero clan. We see with beyond and if true tserri being ghoulish ideas of religious figures and themes.
