@raphafacts @rileybrown_ai Not there yet, sure. Hard to believe it won't be in the near future. I've only really begun to try. Used chatgpt. Started using continue extension for vs code with minstral llm running locally. It was able to produce code but not useful enough for to a none coder.
@nedcoder What you said could be true, but ...1) If you were helping another dev, would read all the code to fix am issue? 2) if I learn nothing, I have the one to blame. 3) You are right, larger projects have potential for larger problems. 4) Also, true, but the ai can learn too.
@MrSombrero5@AaronmFu @rileybrown_ai You're absolutely right. But if the technology were advanced enough people would treat it the same. Also, humans produce plenty of slop. The truth is, most people don't care how it works only that it works.
@raphafacts @rileybrown_ai My dishwasher is slow too. But while it's washing my dishes I can get other things done. Imagine someone being able to work on dozens of projects at once. Also, it will get faster and better.
@MrSombrero5@AaronmFu @rileybrown_ai There were probably people in the 60s who said the same thing about C language. They were like learn assembly, haha.
