I like playing 3d sonic casually, but I've long been a hater of the feel and mechanics if I try to enjoy them any deeper than that. Something about Shadow Generations hit a little different though.
Even though I firmly prefer digital games, I think getting rid of the physical option makes the market worse. My instinct tells me that digital sales probably aren't as good if they don't have to compete with the used market.
I like pointing this out for people who get intimidated
by clips like this.
(There are a couple of pretty difficult shortcuts in the clip, but everything else is super approachable.)
I love World. It has the most expressive driving since Wii imo. That said, a lot of stuff in this clip is easier and simpler than it looks. It's flashier than past Mario Kart games, so it can look crazy and high skill.
I really like Fire Emblem for the puzzle like gameplay and less for the rpg stuff. This is the main reason I like Awakening and Three Houses a bit less than the others. It's also why I have trouble getting into other SRPGs like Tactics Ogre and FFT.
my problem with every competetive video game is that when I start to get bored, i just wish i was playing mario kart or mario 64 instead, and then i just go play mario kart or mario 64
I'm grumpy. This is the one ulti I didn't dive into logs and vods to make/steal my own heal plan. I've just been using pf mit sheets, but THEY KEEP CHANGING! Never doing this again I better not be busy irl when next ulti comes out.
The general sentiment in reviews for the Star Fox remake is correct imo. It plays well and it's 99% the same as the original from a gameplay perspective. However, the 1% that's different will drive some fans absolutely crazy.
Modern 3d platformers are to the genre what Musou games are to the action genre. The player is way too powerful for the challenge put in front of them. It's not a bad thing, especially if exploration is the focus, but I also enjoy thoughtfully limiting the player for challenge.
I still feel grumpy when I think about the echoes of wisdom final boss. I get the spend the whole game as a way too strong warrior wizard, but then they take away my sword and I just to finish things as regular wizard??? They shouldn't have even given the sword in the first place
FUN TIP FOR ALL HEALERS: during raid prog start randomly making scared yelp noises without elaborating when big mechanics are happening and see how your static reacts
I downloaded overwatch again to try the new character with a motorcycle, but the motorcycle feels like shit! How, in the game with Wrecking Ball and Lucio, do you make a character with cool looking movement feel like shit????
