Mr Amir Sohail former cricketer, chief selector and commentator choosing to mock Karachi city on air during a Khi vs Lhr PSL match being watched globally is disappointing, to say the least.

Right after a positive PCB package celebrating both cities, he chose to bring up “pan spits in Karachi and saying they symbolise Khi city” a tired and insulting stereotype. Completely unnecessary and in poor taste.

Karachi is Pakistan’s largest city and economic backbone. It deserves respect, not ridicule especially from those meant to represent the country on the world stage.
