Saints camp Day 8:

- This was a fun one, a lot of red zone work.

- The run game had a really strong day, with Alvin Kamara ripping off what was his best run of camp. I believe Penning (in video below) served as the lead blocker.

- Jordan Mims fits this system really well, and might be the second best rusher on the roster.

- I don’t know who is going to win the backup QB job, which is a testament to Rattler’s progress in camp. He ran with the 2’s today.

- Some nifty PA designs, including one from Carr to Taysom Hill. He was wide open down the sideline. Rattler and Haener also connected on some precise PA throws.

- The first red zone drills were a rough outing for the offense, but got significantly better as the day progressed. Offense responded in general after a few days of defense having the upper hand.

- DNPsd: Wilson, St. Brown, Means, Lattimore, Miller, Davis, Saldiveri, Lemieux and Jeffcoat.
