Looking just for any thoughts; I know Durum wheat hasn’t been grown in this area of MB for some time. But with newer varieties and better fungicide options, could it not work agronomically now in this area of Western Canada? If anyone has advice or suggestions please feel free.

Seeing wheat stem sawfly damage of varying degrees all around Regina. Scouted a few fields at 15% damage.

Seeing lower percentages of wheat stem saw fly throughout the Regina area. Might be worth checking your fields and looking into a saw fly resistant variety for next year, if you don’t have one already #AgTwitter

travelling around SK these last few days, there are some rough areas of land with this drought. Please check in on your farming friends, whether that be grain or cattle. Have a beer or a good laugh with them, they need to know people are there for them in a time of need #Helpout
