@sarahdavywrites Mine faces North West so very little sun. They need light more than sun, if that makes sense! They don’t like full sun all day long and never water on a hot day, their roots will cook like rice noodles in soup! Under watering is better than over watering. Good luck!

@john46wilson The clay pots look so very very pretty but I do find mine are happier in the plastic. Makes for easier washing at repot time too!

@john46wilson Fred Booley is such a lovely plant. It was one of my first Auricula, sadly now long departed! I too only have a couple of doubles, I’d like Nymph again if I ever see it on a plant stall.

Don’t keep them inside, they like fresh air. Not too wet. Not too dry. No full sun all day long. I used to have mine in a partially shaded courtyard and they loved it. Give it a go, they are lovely 😊

@papaver The ‘borders’ are the most sweetly scented. The fancy pants ‘greens’ and ‘edges’ rarely so.
Just a few pots on a shelf by the back door will fill the air with fragrance on a warm Soring day.

Oh, and charity shops (where many of us buy cheap, nice clothes for our fast-growing kids) have all been closed, and we also couldn’t clothes swap/hand-me-down with friends in lockdown, so there have been almost NO options to get affordable kids stuff, for many.

Before joining the ‘Primark queue slagathon’ pls remember:
a) some people CAN’T shop online as they don’t have a credit/debit card
b) money is tight for many now, so Primark is an affordable option
c) many are buying clothes for their kids who’ve outgrown everything..
