How can we leverage growing disinterest in national politics to strengthen local sovereignty in 2024?

The Senate has once again betrayed the American people, trampling on the Constitution and our rights in bipartisan fashion.
The first two images list the senators who voted yea to keep unconstitutional, warrantless surveillance of Americans via FISA 702 in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and those who voted nay to oppose FISA 702’s inclusion.
The second two images list the senators who voted yea to pass the NDAA with FISA 702 and those who voted nay to reject the NDAA with FISA 702.
These senators swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution, yet the vast majority of them voted to treat the people they claim to represent with utter contempt in direct violation of the Fourth Amendment.
And it gets much, much worse with unfunded liabilities.
Any practical difference between Democrats and Republicans continues to fade over time. Both consistently erode your rights, steal from unborn children today, and devalue the purchasing power of your dollar.
I became a libertarian when I realized I will never be debt free.
I budget like a boss and save money to the best of my ability, living paycheck to paycheck. Yet, I will always have a piece of our nation's insurmountable debt. And I fucking hate that 🖕🏾

A child born today in America already has over $100,000 in federal debt in their name.
If nothing changes from our current trajectory, when that child is old enough to vote, their "share" of that debt will be at least $300,000, possibly as high as $500,000.
And the cost of living will be anywhere from 2 to 3 times higher than it is now.
The average wage, meanwhile, will have only increased by about 70-80%.
And to pay off that debt, their taxes will have to be much higher than now, and the "services" they'll probably need to receive from government will fall even further short of meeting their needs than they do now.
They will own nothing. They will be entirely dependent on the same politicians, central bankers and corporate cronies who created this mess for them.
If nothing changes, things will be much worse for a child who is born today.
And for the next 18 years, they will have no ability to vote, or to effectively advocate, for that to change.
They can't stop their future from being worse.
But you can.
You can break the cycle that previous generations created.
You can demand that government stop spending money it doesn't have.
You can stop advocating for the ponzi schemes, corporate welfare, endless wars, and other policies that increase the debt.
You can explain to others who do, what kind of nightmare they're creating for the future, and encourage them to join you to make it better instead.
You can refuse to vote for anyone who adds a single penny to the debt.
You can invest in assets that act as a hedge against inflation, like precious metals and bitcoin, and engage in other practices that make it harder for government to extract money from you.
You can take a break from arguing with each other about personalities, identities and lifestyle choices, and realize that none of that matters if we can't afford to live.
And if enough of us do these things, government will have to stop the debt spending.
And when they stop the debt spending, the Fed no longer prints out new money to finance the debt.
And when new money isn't being printed, the value of your money remains stable.
And when that happens, the cost of living stabilizes.
And wages can catch up over time.
And that debt starts going down.
And that kid will have a brighter future than we have, instead of a darker one.
So the question is: are you willing to do what it takes?
Community is not built by force but by voluntary cooperation. Let us foster a society where individuals come together freely, creating bonds that are strong, genuine, and devoid of coercion.
A war on "assault weapons" will go exactly like the government's war on drugs, terror, illegal immigration, poverty, etc.
You will be poorer after they steal more money from you to make a "problem" worse than it was before they "helped."
"More assault weapons" is not the answer. The answer is a nationwide ban on weapons of war that have no business being on our streets in the first place.
The Declaration of Independence expressed the reasons for which the American states were impelled "to the separation" from Britain. That was its chief purpose.
As Thomas Jefferson wrote, government exists to protect life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and that "whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it."
That was the original American principle—the very thing that made us free and unique.
The problem is, Washington, D.C. doesn't derive its powers from the consent of the governed, it derives its powers from the consent of Raytheon, Pfizer, and JP Morgan.
The modern American regime is a criminal oligarchy that undermines your rights in every way.
It extorts you, spies on you, destroys the value of your currency, engages in illegal searches and seizures, and prohibits you from protecting yourself with the firearm of your choice.
After all of that, it even dares to ask you what you'd do without it!
The IRS is more oppressive than His Majesty's Customs was.
The FBI, DEA, and ATF are more oppressive than the Redcoats were.
The Federal Reserve is more oppressive than the Bank of England was.
As Americans watch their liberty slip away, we still celebrate the deeds of men who realized that the colonies of 1776 "ought to be Free an Independent States," and believed that the only solution to their problems was to sever all political ties to their tyrannical central government.
They dedicated their lives, fortunes, and sacred honors to this idea, even while knowing they would be branded traitors and insurrectionists for doing so.
In 2023, we live under a government far more oppressive than the American founders did. We still recognize the right to alter, abolish, or withdraw from your political system is non-negotiable. We will never shy away from it, or apologize for it. It's THE crucial part of our heritage we're celebrating today, and the ruling class can never take it away from us.
It's not a surprise to see the party that always complains about affordable housing make it significantly more expensive, mandating the addition of infrastructure the vast majority of citizens do not want or need.

State lawmakers gave themselves a pay raise again (just about 6 months after they voted for a 17% raise). They now make a salary that’s 25% higher than the state’s median household income. This is essentially for a part time job!
