@peter_levy Keep school uniforms unless the UK wants to join the ‘brand’ race and make it even more expensive for parents. This happens in The Netherlands where school uniforms don’t exist but where there is a branded clothing race. Bad idea and cost parents more than uniforms
@peter_levy the sausage rolls that schools buy are ‘school compliant’ and not a normal sausage roll. All schools also need to comply with the School Food Standards which dictates what can be served when and the associated portion size. This is a none new item.
@peter_levy we have a 19 yr old son, he goes to university and works two casual jobs. It’s about parenting, can’t blame everything on the government, although the government has possibly focused on ‘minorities’ only for too long
@peter_levy I paid £40 to change my broken car headlights. Cyclist are road users similar to me and make a conscious decision not to have lights. They should be fined for not having lights, not rewarded. Your choice, your risk.
