Humanity, created by God in all its grandeur, is today facing a pivotal choice: either to construct a new Tower of Babel or to build the city in which God and humanity dwell together. In Jesus Christ, this humanity in its grandeur becomes the Way, the Truth and the Life, opening the path for each of us to grow toward fullness. #MagnificaHumanitas

@billiceberg @sam_d_1995 I rode on S8 stock in London and it was great, the only thing I'm skeptical about with these is how do they handle smoke? If someone lights up (very common in Chicago) does it just permeate through the whole train?
@WB_Baskerville I understand doing this at satellite campuses, second-tier public schools in a state or whatever given the coming enrollment cliff, but I can't for the life of me get why they're doing this at flagship universities (besides the woke or whatever they blame these days)
@lacherbauer A smart move for NITA would be to resurrect the Mid-City Transitway project, would use the abandoned tracks just east of Cicero. An automated metro line there would be incredible
Only one chance in this lifetime…
Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.
I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.
