Just a friendly reminder that school zones are back in effect as of today. City school zones are in effect on school days from 7:30am-4:30pm. Please slow down and drive safely. #yql
Chief Shahin Mehdizadeh given the Blackfoot name "Wolf Butte " and adopted by the Blackfoot Nation. Called by Elders "Protector and Father who looks out over the City from a high place" as he takes on new role at LPS. #yql@Leth_Herald
I was busy with yardwork yesterday. I missed Jason Kenney’s sad attempt to distract from his dismal performance on jobs&economy.
He wants you to forget:
-50,000 jobs lost, investment down before covid
-cancelled diversification pgms
-no jobs plan

Back to school may look a little different this year, but one thing remains the same – school zones will be back in effect starting Sept. 1. Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously. School zones are in effect from 7:30 am-4:30 pm on school days. #yql https://t.co/PQ4CplrODH

Listened to the anti-mask protesters at the farmer’s market as they shouted about how we are giving up our rights and bowing to the rules then watched them all stop at the red light in order to cross the street.
The covid-19 update today again barely acknowledged the risk to teachers and staff in the school. The entire focus seemed to be that little kids will probably be fine. Also, the ‘updated’ document said nothing that I could find about who will isolate or about substitutes. #ableg
Under Jason Kenney, income tax is up, property tax is up, auto insurance is up, school fees are up, and electricity rates are up. And even before the pandemic, jobs were down.
