The healthcare workers implementing the Pulse Polio campaign in Jammu & Kashmir have done a remarkable job by reaching children in some of the most remote areas. In many cases, they walked more than 30 kilometers through difficult terrain to ensure that every child received the vaccine. Their dedication to public service is truly inspiring and sets a shining example for government employees across India.
@abmarkman Confirmation of my earlier tweet calling Elon Musk "The dumbest person on Earth." He is now criticizing MacKenzie Scott for her charitable donations. To me, criticizing generosity says far more about a person's values than giving ever could.
A fascinating experiment using Artificial Intelligence. Of course, this is subjective.
Using the same criteria as before—vowel richness, open/vowel-final syllables, syllable-timed rhythm, smoothness, and minimal consonant clustering—AI ranked languages from most to least "musical":
Italian – the benchmark: near-universal vowel-final words, clean vowels, and strong syllable timing.
Swahili – almost every word ends in a vowel, with five pure vowels, minimal clusters, and a syllable-timed rhythm.
Japanese – mora-timed, near-perfect consonant-vowel structure, and exceptionally vowel-rich.
Telugu – vowel-final, syllable-timed, and often called "the Italian of the East."
Spanish – five pure vowels, open syllables, and a smooth, even rhythm.
Finnish – vowel harmony, long vowels, few initial clusters, and a melodic flow.
Tamil – vowel-rich, with a slightly stronger retroflex character than Telugu.
Modern Greek – clean five-vowel system, mostly open syllables, and a flowing rhythm.
Brazilian Portuguese – melodic, with distinctive nasal vowels adding character.
Turkish – vowel harmony creates a smooth, flowing sound.
I cross-checked these results with another AI model. Its comparative ranking for musicality (using the above features) is:
Italian – 50/50
Telugu – 49/50
Spanish – 48/50
Japanese – 48/50
Swahili – 47/50
Indonesian – 46/50
Hindi – 45/50
Portuguese – 44/50
Bengali – 43/50
Turkish – 43/50
While such rankings are inherently subjective and depend on the chosen criteria, it is interesting that two independent AI systems produced broadly similar results. Strangely, Hindi is absent from first list and English is absent from both lists. For more cognitive benefits and evolutionary reasons, speaking English and Hindi are not at all good options for Dravidians.
It is good that Pakistan accepts its non-Islamic heritage. It might have understood the importance of peace when it acted as a middleman in the peace talks between the US and Iran.
In the best interests of Pakistan, it needs rapid development, which stopped long ago. It needs more doctors, engineers, scientists (not nuclear scientists), artists (to revive Islamic and pre-Islamic arts), lawyers, and so on.
Women need to be respected and given equal rights in all areas. People from all regions and religions need an equal share in development.
Hate will not achieve anything. If anything can create a peaceful life, it is love.
The obsession with Kashmir has made Pakistan's think tank (the military, ISI, and corrupt politicians) among the most brutal in the world. The present generation of Pakistan is paying for the heinous crimes of earlier generations.
Pakistan has missed many development opportunities by denying itself peace with India. Stop spreading hate and start peace talks with India without raising the Kashmir issue.
Better late than never.
Deeply saddened by the passing of legendary filmmaker, director, actor and screenwriter Sri K. Bhagyaraj.
A visionary director and master storyteller, he gave Tamil cinema some of its most memorable films, blending humor, emotion and strong social themes with remarkable simplicity. His exceptional screenplays and direction inspired generations of filmmakers and entertained millions of movie lovers.
Tamil cinema has lost one of its greatest creative forces, but his timeless films and enduring legacy will continue to inspire future generations.
Heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and countless admirers.
Om Shanti. 🙏

Elon Musk recently said that artificial intelligence could exceed total human intelligence within the next five years.
In this regard, I would like to remind the world of one simple truth: any system, action, or plan driven by greed or hatred will not succeed in the long run.
Even if AI replaces humans in many workplaces, policies and decisions based on greed, inequality, or disregard for human well-being will eventually produce negative consequences for individuals, societies, and nations. Technological progress without wisdom and ethics can create more problems than it solves.
At the same time, AI has enormous potential to benefit humanity when used responsibly in areas such as healthcare, scientific research, education, environmental protection, and the sharing of knowledge.
Therefore, I request people not to be overly influenced by every prediction about AI, whether it comes from Elon Musk, other business leaders, or technical experts. Instead, citizens should ask their governments to focus on protecting the environment, ensuring responsible use of energy, and maintaining transparency in public spending.
Governments should also regularly audit the energy consumption, environmental impact, and public funding associated with large-scale technological and space programs. Scientific exploration is important, but it must remain accountable, sustainable, and aligned with the broader interests of humanity rather than serving only narrow commercial interests.
The future of humanity will be determined not by AI alone, but by the values with which we choose to use it.
A peaceful agreement between the United States and Iran would be good not only for the two nations involved but for the entire world. Lasting peace becomes possible only when leaders of all countries think, plan, and work for the welfare of the most disadvantaged people in their societies, setting aside ego, dogma, and ideological rigidity.
Iran now has an opportunity to carefully plan its future development. For far too long, many young Iranians have been isolated from the full benefits of global economic and scientific progress. The world should look forward to seeing more Iranian doctors, engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, artists, writers, and innovators contributing to humanity. Iran's rich cultural heritage and art —both Islamic and pre-Islamic —deserves preservation, revival, and celebration.
History shows that extremism and intolerance, whether religious, political, or ideological, can be harmful wherever they emerge—whether in Iran, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, or any other part of the world. Societies progress when they encourage critical thinking, open inquiry, scientific investigation, and respect for evidence.
Scientific knowledge should guide our understanding of the natural world. The Theory of Evolution is supported by extensive evidence gathered across multiple scientific disciplines and remains one of the foundational concepts of modern biology. A commitment to evidence-based thinking allows humanity to solve problems, improve lives, and better understand our place in the universe.
At the same time, people should be encouraged to explore history honestly and without fear. Iranians can take pride in a civilization that flourished long before the 7th century CE. Pakistanis and Bangladeshis can learn about the many civilizations and cultures that existed in their regions before the arrival of Islam. Indians, too, can study the deep and diverse roots of their civilization, extending back thousands of years. Ultimately, all humans share a common evolutionary ancestry that stretches back to Africa and connects us as members of one human family.
Sometimes I think our primate relatives display a wisdom that we(humans) often lack. They do not build weapons capable of destroying entire cities. They do not pollute oceans or destabilize the climate. Humanity's greatest strength is not our ability to dominate nature but our ability to communicate, cooperate, learn, and create.
It was communication, collaboration, and shared knowledge that enabled human civilization to flourish. Therefore, let us exchange ideas freely, work for the benefit of humanity, protect the environment, and preserve this remarkable planet for future generations.
And if there is a higher power, perhaps the greatest expectation would not be blind obedience to any ideology, prophet, or book, but our willingness to care for one another, seek truth with humility, and leave the world better than we found it.
"The earth is what we all have in common." — Wendell Berry
"Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding." — Albert Einstein
"The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination." — Albert Einstein
The future belongs not to those who cling most tightly to old divisions, but to those who build bridges between people, knowledge, cultures, and generations.
Great. I request that similar action be taken to stop funding activities pursued in the name of space exploration. It should be made clear that humanity is unlikely to permanently live in space or on other planets in the foreseeable future. Public funds should be prioritized toward addressing pressing challenges on Earth that directly impact people's lives.
The manifesto of CJP looks like a typical manifesto of other Indian political parties, promising unreasonable subsidies amounting to a huge loss to the public exchequer. The Delhi protest is a genuine success, but there must be a suitable time gap between subsequent protests. Even the government needs to know the facts beforehand, probably by conducting internal inquiries into kickbacks to ministers and finding out who all are involved in the education scam. This is not Ram Rajya, where public opinion is of utmost importance. BJP will never make the mistake of asking its ministers to walk on fire, as Lord Rama asked Mother Sita.
It is of utmost importance to address the high birth rates in northern states, especially Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. If effective measures are not taken, India could face a population explosion that would place immense pressure on jobs, infrastructure, resources, and public services. Any political strategy aimed at encouraging population growth for electoral or demographic advantage, or to counter the economic and social progress of southern states, is shortsighted and will ultimately backfire. If demographic trends are ignored for decades, India’s social and political character could change in ways that many people neither anticipate nor desire. Sustainable development requires population stabilization, better education, and greater economic opportunities—not demographic competition.
It is deeply unfortunate that Sri Bharathiraja has left us forever. In my younger days, I was profoundly influenced by the films he directed. His storytelling, rooted in human emotions and rural life, left a lasting impression on me. For many of us, Bharathiraja's movies were not just films—they were dictionaries of love, teaching us its beauty, innocence, and complexities. His legacy will continue to live on through generations of cinema lovers.
The OECD says Indian capitalists get less support than their Chinese counterparts. Really? Corporate tax was slashed during COVID, and years later the cut still hasn't been reversed. How much more support do India's corporate sector need?
In China, tycoons can be sentenced to death for serious misconduct. In India, corporate loan write-offs, policy concessions, and privatization of public assets seem never-ending. Meanwhile, regulators often appear powerless to stop the growing concentration of wealth and market power.
The real crisis is not a lack of support for capitalists. It is the unholy nexus between corporates, bureaucrats, and politicians. Ordinary citizens are told to tighten their belts while a privileged few continue to enjoy special treatment. A country cannot build a healthy economy by socializing losses and privatizing gains.
@CJP_for_India It would be better to plan protests at night rather than during the daytime. If that is not possible, there must be arrangements not only for drinking water but also for water keeping the protesters' clothes wet in order to protect them from the scorching heat.
The only remaining basic is your health. Your health matters a lot. Shall discuss in detail about health later. For now, avoid junk food and commit to daily walk for at least 30 minutes.
Coming to the core points, before discussing anything else, we need to learn about four of the greatest personalities of all time—if you can spare some time.
1). Lord Sriram 2). Lord Budha 3). Socrates 4). Jiddu Krishnamurti. Don't worship them. Get inspired by them.
Ye watan, watan mere, aabaad rahe tu
哦,我的祖国,愿你永远繁荣昌盛。
Oh, mi patria, que siempre prosperes y florezcas
"يا وطني، لِتَبقَ مزدهرًا وعامرًا دائمًا
A few points I want to bring to the notice of Generation G (Gen-G) International.
First, let us appreciate the life we are living today. It is remarkable. We live in an age where ideas travel faster than armies and conversations cross borders in seconds. More than anything else, it is communication that made us human. In fact, our ancestors sacrificed the ability to breathe and eat simultaneously so that they could communicate more effectively. Evolution had its priorities!
Today, we are connected, sharing thoughts, knowledge, dreams, fears, jokes, and sometimes even wisdom. That itself is a great achievement.
Thanking:
First, let us thank Science and Technology. Without them, this message would probably still be travelling by pigeon.
Next, let us also acknowledge three of humanity's most influential cognitive products: God, Religion, and Trickery. Together they have shaped civilizations, inspired great achievements, caused endless debates, and guided much of human history as we evolved from Homo sapiens into modern humans.
Let us call this package GRT.
No, no, no... definitely not a new tax! We are already paying this tax from birth, regardless of nationality. Though at present, it appears that Iranians, Afghans, Pakistanis, and Indians are paying a somewhat higher rate than many others.
So let us thank GRT as well.
Above all, let us thank our parents and gurus. Before algorithms taught us anything, they did.
About:
This essay is intended to generate awareness, not provoke, divide, or take sides in politics.
Basics:
The rise of the Cockroach Janata Party on social media is phenomenal. Whether this party—representing Gen-G in India—ultimately succeeds or fails, only time will tell. But one thing is certain: its impact will not be limited to India. Similar trends are emerging across the world.
Therefore, what I say here is not only for India, but for the entire world.
Gen-G of the world, before reforming the world, start learning about yourself.
Self-awareness is perhaps the most important quality required in the new age. Be aware of yourself before becoming aware of everything else. Understanding your own biases, strengths, weaknesses, fears, and motivations is the first step toward understanding society.
Scientific investigation matters.
Questioning properly and finding the right answers are essential skills for Gen-G.
(No, I am not copying this from the Bhagavad Gita where Lord Krishna says, "Question, Arjuna, question!"—though I suspect he would have approved of the scientific method.)
Another principle:
"Take the good from anywhere. Reject the bad, even if it comes from your own home."
Civilizations progress when they learn, not when they worship their own mistakes.
For today, let me stop here.
Not because I have run out of thoughts.
Because, like every responsible member of Gen-G, I am feeling gloriously lazy.
