Those dancers are booked through some company and have to be paid(They didn't come on their own to welcome the joker as the post claims). The hall is booked at a substantial cost for all this drama. The cameraman too.

Deeply shocking to read this official US statement, which contains absolutely no expression of regret or condolence for the loss of innocent Indian lives. How can a “friend” and strategic partner be so deeply insensitive?

Why couldn’t a non-compliant commercial vessel have been stopped using other, non-lethal means? Is it not possible to disable a ship's propulsion or steering without firing missiles targeted to kill civilian crew members?

Practically every merchant ship navigating these crucial waters has Indian crew on board. Are they all considered fair game for US missiles now?

This approach is unacceptable and I hope @DrSJaishankar had said so to @marcorubio.

This is a weird take, especially in the current scenario. All those you mention people are not in education related fields. An actor saying marks don't matter is pointless since yes, in their field it obviously doesn't. For majority of our population till today education is the only way to escape from clutches of generational poverty and oppression. Ask for help is a valid suggestion to a South Bombay or Bandra kid not to 95-98% others, whose marks are essentially their dreams.

Go tell your Prime Minister Mr. Modi to build just one city like Norway,
where people get these facilities:

- Corruption-free
- Pollution-free
- Food free from adulteration
- Best quality roads and flyovers
- Best quality education with no paper leaks
- Proper treatment in hospitals without medical mafia loot
- At least basic facilities for common people

It’s okay if he does not hold press conferences, because if he does, the public will definitely ask all these questions.
That is why Mr. Modi runs away and does not want to answer.

I am not talking about cities or villages that were already better before,
like many people mentioned South India and Jammu & Kashmir - those places are naturally better and pollution-free.

Now talk about Delhi, the capital of India.

India has a population of 1.3 billion,
a 4 trillion-dollar economy,
and was once considered one of the world’s most developed civilizations.

In the capital city Delhi:

- Are people getting clean air?
- Are people getting food without adulteration?
- Are the roads good?
- Has corruption ended?
- Are people getting proper treatment in hospitals?

If all these things are not happening,
then what has Prime Minister Modi been doing for the last 12 years?

He has not even made his own capital an example for the world.

Delhi’s pollution is famous around the world.

Many people say that population does not allow India to progress. In fact, if there is a right leadership, then by using population as a weapon, it can become the number one country in the world, which will be the safest country in the world.

Where corruption, pollution, medical mafia, top exam Exam paper leak can never happen.

There's this Congress myth that BJP is in power because of AAP.

Did Kejriwal's LSE shennanigans help BJP? YES. No doubt about it. Also equally no doubt that they lived to regret it, even if the Congress never forgave them.

But the Congress was in power when Modi should have been in JAIL. Forget Parliament. Journalists (who are now blamed for being "Godi") took great risks to expose him repeatedly. The public hoped for action. But Congress defeat in 2014 was more like a handover than any kind of fight. Go back to watch Rahul Gandhi's interview with Arnab Goswami - he wasn't even prepared.

You can't blame that on AAP. Worse, to remain butthurt to the point that you can't collaborate more than a decade later with the country's future at stake may serve the fragile egos, but it does not serve the country.

If you keep blaming somebody else for your failures, you will never be able to win, because it will never be in your hand. If you're waiting for a country where there are no other conflicting agendas to blame, that era has passed and will never return. The question is if you can deal with the India of today or there's no point, is there?

Again, I say this as a well-wisher. I want every non-BJP party to succeed. For the sake of us all, I really hope Congress can operate with a view of the future rather than paranoia about the past.
