The maximum number of members in a squadron has been raised to 600 (up from 500)

Finally after being locked to 500 for years!

Such a nice round number in our Squadron bank and yes we donated the last bit to make sure it was 50 Bil on the dot.
(thanks to all of our CMDR's that donated to it)

Type 11 is unique with its animations and new Large hardpoint that can have this new mining hardpoint equipped.

"Can be used for a new type of mining" (Didnt go in to more detail)

It will be the only ship that can equip this new module.

Key takeaways from the stream are:

• Custom Decals for all squadrons
• Perks for all squadrons
• Squadron Carriers
• Share ships and money with your squadron (ships can't be engineered*)
• Notice board

Squadrons will be able to buy a carrier for the whole squadron that isn't tied to one CMDR.

Sadly, we don't know the cost of it yet

Changes to the leaderboards so groups that are smaller can still win something :) #EliteDangerous
