इसके लिए प्रधानमंत्री कृषि सिंचाई योजना के वाटरशेड कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत भूमि संसाधन विभाग द्वारा 5 फरवरी से देशभर में 'वाटरशेड यात्रा' का शुभारंभ किया जा रहा है।

आइए, आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री @narendramodi जी के आह्वान पर हम संकल्प लें कि हम जल को व्यर्थ नहीं बहने देंगे और मिट्टी का संरक्षण करेंगे।

भूमि संसाधन विभाग, ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय ने पीएमकेएसवाई-डब्ल्यूडीसी 2.0 योजना के तहत सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करने वाले 10 राज्यों, मध्य प्रदेश, असम, ओडिशा, तमिलनाडु, कर्नाटक, नागालैंड, राजस्थान, हिमाचल प्रदेश, सिक्किम और नागालैंड में ₹700 करोड़ लागत की 56 नए वाटरशेड विकास परियोजनाओं को मंजूरी दी है।

इस निर्णय से किसानों की आय बढ़ाने, भूमि क्षरण रोकने और जलवायु अनुकूलता के प्रयासों को नई गति मिलेगी।
