@fosterbkay It is important (and I think also very hard) to find things that interest them. Make sure they can relate and find it useful to them some how. Even the smallest connection will at least get them to do it.

@fosterbkay I think it would be having a plan. Making sure every one is aware and able to reach what is needing to be accomplished. Make sure it is going to be helpful, the time it takes to do will be worth it. :)

@fosterbkay I would say that ours would be the end goal. All the students hard work and overcoming challenges and classes land them an internship at the end.

I believe in holding kids accountable.

To me, this means not letting them off the hook by easily accepting a zero.

To me, it means helping them make a better choice by showing them I won't give up on them.
