Thank you everyone who has wished me a happy birthday so far! I received an early birthday gift, Chad and I welcomed our son Elias Daniel Rowell on Jan 6th! We are all doing great, and today will be filled with lots of baby snuggles!

Today is #nationalrainbow day, we thought it would be fitting to announce our rainbow that will be coming in Jan. We have 2 hope babies in heaven. The picture encompasses our babies and our rainbow to come. It has not been easy, but "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul"

@duffgoldman my husband @chadrowell and I have watched the baking championship shows, and throughout all the seasons you have said to always toast your nuts when baking. My question to you is when making a pecan pie, should I toast my pecans before making the pie?
