On Tuesday, 26 year old Isaar Ahmed was tied to a pole and beaten to death by an enraged mob.

Ahmed had gone to a Hindu religious festival in Delhi and had eaten the Prasad (offering), which led to his lynching.

The autopsy found that shock and haemorrhage were the causes of death. Delhi police have arrested six people as well as a minor.
