"No, I don't subscribe to this 'kindness' - I'll tell the truth instead."
I spoke at the Cambridge Union last night about LGBs, children's safety and women's rights. Full video here:
Hey @TomSteyer, my mother has also loved sports her entire life, except she didn’t get to play sports in high school because her school didn’t have any women’s teams. She’s only a few years older than you & was in college when Title IX passed. She became the captain of the first women’s tennis team at her university.
My mom grew up watching her five brothers be celebrated for their athleticism. Meanwhile, she had no teams available to her. My mom is a naturally gifted athlete, but girls were expected to sit on the sidelines, cheer for boys, and never imagine themselves on the field.
Then, after Title IX passed, everything changed. Her university formed a women’s tennis team. She tried out, made the team, and became team captain. That opportunity, delayed for years, shaped her life. It gave her confidence, leadership, friendships, pride, and a sense of belonging that had been denied to her simply because she was female.
For millennia, women were kept out of public life, out of education, out of professions, out of the law, out of the vote, and yes, out of athletics, all on the basis of SEX, not gender.
And now we are told by you, Tom Steyer, to pretend that sex is irrelevant. That male bodies pumped have no advantage. That girls should just accept losing medals, titles, records, scholarships, and privacy. That after centuries of struggle, suddenly the category “woman” is opt-in for any boy who wants in.
But having inherited those rights from my mother and grandmothers who fought hard for them, I cannot and will not sit back and let you destroy them hard earned rights for future generations of girls.
@dilanesper@geaux_tiguhs@sweat__shorts@Mikejon11642074 I agree celebrity kids are more likely attention seeking. But we know teenage girls can be susceptible to social contagions and there has been a documented spike in that exact population IDing as transgender. So it’s not really out of line to consider that as a possibility here.
@johnmalkov58681@GirlDigital@StellarFox16 I thought you were saying that women shouldn’t be able to vote since we aren’t subject to the draft. But the vast majority of voters aren’t, so I was trying to figure out if your position is that only potential draftees should be able to vote.
Except for the 6,346 1st place finishes and the 10,888 top three finishes that boys and men have stolen from girls and women, in well documented female sports events.
Except for the 678 well documented female records broken by boys and men, including 39 world records.
Except for the well documented 927 females who were robbed of $2,469,176 in prize money, by males.
In the spring of 2025, 12 State high School girls' championships in Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, California, and Washington, were won by boys. AB Hernandez was one of them, he and others struck again this year, including Becky Pepper Jackson, a boy who just won the WV State Girls' Championship in shot put.
Thousands of girls and women have been displaced in their own sports, by boys and men. Many have been sanctioned, threatened, and banned, for complaining about it.
(Numbers above are as of May 28, 2026)
@KirstieMAllsopp They’re enslaved for traditions and beliefs ABOUT female biology. No Afghani woman can gain additional rights by identifying as a man.
This is because all of "trans rights" is actually focused on and for the benefit of men.
"Trans" identified females most often do not try to join men's sports teams and remain on women's teams.
They do not try to transfer to men's prisons.
They often remain a part of lesbian groups and date lesbians. They aren't trying to coerce straight women into relationships.
The hormones they take are far more damaging to their bodies, and the push for blocking puberty and interventions in children is not for them as women can take testosterone later in life and experience the same changes.
There aren't women stealing men's athletic awards, men's titles, men's positions in hiring quotas, etc. They aren't affecting men's crime rates, and men aren't being blamed for crimes they commit.
They aren't being lauded in articles as the "first man to" etc. as men who pretend to be women are. In fact, one of the only times they are celebrated in the media at all is for being a "pregnant man."
None of the advocacy within the "trans" movement is even for them. It's all about "protect the dolls" "transwomen are women!" "transgirls need to be on girls' sports teams or they'll DIE" "Look at this pretty "transgirl" we're going to parade around in front of everyone to show how pretty he is"
Where are the female versions of "Rebekah" Bruesehoff or "Jazz" Jennings?
Outside Ellen/Eliot Page, who was already famous before she began pretending to be man, where are all the famous "transmen" who are award-winning pop stars and models and actors and athletes and CEOs?
Why don't you ask those questions instead?
@DBW77@MandiganA@catsiesxx Because when there are single sex spaces, a man seen entering the ladies’ room is an instant red flag and grounds for removal without question backed by societal support. It doesn’t stop every sicko, but it reduces opportunity and provides a deterrent against predatory behavior.
@DBW77 I like men but y’all will never be able to fully grasp what it means to exist in society as a female, especially one who is 5’1/100lbs. Even routine activities require constant awareness and caution. That’s not fear mongering or paranoia, it’s our reality.
@DBW77 That’s true. But you asked if people are truly afraid of unisex changing rooms (or bathroom in my case) and for me the answer is yes. I try to avoid them now whenever possible. Women don’t really do this to each other.
@jk_rowling If anyone would like an easy-to-read but scientifically precise scholarly article about what the sexes are and why there are only two of them, check out my article below.

Democratic women legislators killed a bipartisan deal to build a Smithsonian Women's Museum because it wouldn't include men.
The Democrat's message to women is: include men who claim to be women in your services or you will get nothing.
Joe Biden mandated that any woman-only shelter that didn't grant access to any man who says he is a woman would lose federal funding
@FFS_WhatNow Despite going all in on surgeries and hormones, many of these gender non-conforming males think it’s incredibly embarrassing to be a gender non-conforming male.
@dilanesper Can you do a thread on the 9th Amendment? None of the classes I took in law school covered it at all and people treat me like I’m crazy if I bring it up. Maybe I am, but I’d at least like to understand why.
