Canada has a backlog of 300,000 unprocessed refugee claims
A 2024 PBO report estimates avg cost of processing each claim at $16,500
That's $5 BILLION in embedded costs to taxpayers even before benefits/supports. JUST processing!
$5B could build 2-3 major regional hospitals
Go hv a listen. Enough of t professionally engineered, slick campaigns that rely on slogans, simple solutions, paid for media & big donors. Go listen & ask questions. There is a right team. 👇

Canada's population declined by 55k in Q1 led by a 118k drop in non-permanent residents
Meanwhile asylum claimants jumped 7k on the quarter to hit 525,000 overall !!!! That's triple what it was in 2022.
The feds have lost control of this program
@LenaMetlegeDiab@MarkJCarney
Gary Anandasangaree fled Sri Lanka as a refugee to find freedom in Canada. Now, he is the one pushing Bill #C22 to strip Canadians of theirs. Rushing the largest mass surveillance law in our history before summer is an insult to the very liberty he sought. Stop the overreach!🛑🇨🇦
@tobi Weird how there is little to no coverage in state controlled media like @globeandmail@CBC and @TorontoStar … you’d think this would be front page news in a functioning democracy that values free speech and liberty.
@Tablesalt13 Yes & the schools are teaching (persuading) ppl to think like this. Take UBC Law program, you hv to take FN courses, nothing representing the other side. Much like immigration, drugs etc it’s all carefully crafted. Speak up & there r consequences..
You talk about communities
Most Muslims are not interested in the multiculturalism that the other faiths accept
They want uniculturalism
They want respect for their traditions, but show no respect for other faith's traditions
Please stop the cant
Almost stepped on this amazing creature, looks like a twig. Put a piece of paper under him & was able to safely move him. When he opened his wings there was a burst of colour, orange. Nature is an amazing architect. This group think abt living on Mars.. nah
The govt drug campaign that killed 1000’s, destroyed people, their families & communities can deny what they want. Personally I’m sick of the conformity that govt & incentivized experts created. Who gains from addiction & drugs? Those making t money
Overdose deaths went up with decriminalization of narcotics in B.C., then fell once police resumed enforcement of drug laws, according to @GovCanHealth figures. Cabinet has previously denied B.C. experiment was a failure.

We feel shame for a reason & it’s not always bad. It stops us from doing things that that r bad for us & society. The manipulative experts at the top engineered a system that allowed death, addiction & destruction
Shame on the experts, bravo Todd.
Those who benefited from the drug business engineered a drug campaign based on feelings. It played on empathy & emotions, nothing about t deadly & addictive product.
Narrative control, group think & few willing to critically think, 1000’s dead.
I'm glad to see Premier @Dave_Eby and the @bcndp acknowledge what I maintained (ahem ahem) in 2021 and in 2024.
As Eby admits, via @VaughnPalmer today, the New Democrats had been too concerned about “removing the stigma” on drug use.
This headline below was from my 2021 piece:
"How anti-stigma campaign mostly misses the point"

This may not be permanent. The straight depends on negotiations which hv not happened yet & with good reason many are wary. Not a very accurate headline but I guess they need to sell papers.
Universities hv become too woke & they hv also become places where ppl bring their ideologies. It’s about higher learning, ideas, debate, academia etc. This I’m right your bad mentality has got to go.
I can’t speak for Ivy League profs, but at my level, all the pressure is on passing as many students as possible. Lots of perverse incentives in public higher ed. Lots of problems. Very complex set of circumstances that stem from problems in government, education programs, overwhelming leftist dominance of institutions, student preparation, the gobsmacking growth of administration over the last few decades, and other things. Ironically, many problems stem from well-meaning efforts to hold higher ed accountable.
Government is to blame for a lot of it. But the fact remains that if we were a culture that valued true education, we would have it.
@the_culturist_ Not only can they not read they also get triggered. So many things upset them, absolutely no resiliency. Need to bring philosophy into the fold, get them thinking.
I don't think anybody really grasps how desperate this situation is.
University professors are now saying they are unable to teach history because reading long books and passages is how a person learns history. College kids are incapable of reading more than a few pages.
Some classes don't assign any reading at all now, only lectures.
There is an assumption among the people managing this decline that reading is just a way of receiving information. It isn't. Proper reading is how we build the mental muscle to synthesize ideas and evaluate them.
If the catastrophic decline in reading and literacy is not addressed now, we risk losing everything.
Western civilization cannot survive the death of reading because it was built by people with the kind of cognitive depth that a culture of deep reading brings:
Complex reasoning, extended internal dialogue, the capacity to hold opposing ideas in tension. Our systems and institutions are complex, and they require well ordered minds to maintain them.
Reading forms minds, and the West was built by the richest minds in history.
My client @SWOTNonprofit@joey_tuccio calls LAPD and LA Animal Services regularly to report Skid Row dog abuse. No help is available.
Now, we’re demanding a federal investigation because local officials refuse to act to save dogs on LA’s Skid Row 🐶🐾
@KFIAM640 just covered @Adv_Law_Animals federal complaint to the @FBI, @TheJusticeDept, and other agencies about Skid Row animal abuse, illegal breeding, and the dog fighting pipeline.
@Hutchyman@HendersonDevon_ Trudeau (ok his handlers) told Canadians to boycott the USA. Trudeau did what he was told, he was never a leader he was a spokesman to get ppl on side & sway ppl into group think. Now he plays in the US as does Carney.
🇨🇦ians r suckers.
@Christy4Change Trudeau told 🇨🇦 nt to travel to the USA, to boycott them. Many stayed home to show loyalty to their country. Regardless of whether it was a good or bad idea Trudeau wanted others to pay the price. Trudeau was nvr a leader, he was, is an opportunist.
