Well it appears Twitter is rate limiting the Mastodon-Twitter crossposter to the point of being useless given the influx of 8 million new Mastodon users.
This will probably be my last Tweet.

I teach security and privacy to people at risk of serious harm for their desire of basic human rights.
They can't risk using closed platforms that demand they give up PII like phone numbers.
This is why I have no time for "security" or "privacy"… https://t.co/mmwMmJHrOS

Centralization means dictatorship: Do what you are told.
Decentralization means democracy: You must research and make choices.
If you think democracy is worth a bit of work, I encourage you to tolerate choosing Matrix and Mastodon servers.
The feature of Mastodon that matters most is that there is no means to recreate central portals for feds or corpos to globally suppress or promote users and content of their choosing.

You will be happier when you log out of Twitter.
Maybe share this first ;)
EA Origin games are broken on the Steam deck, and most Linux distributions. The games themselves are compatible, but Linux defaults OpenSSL 3 which refuses put users at risk by communicating with the unpatched servers EA runs.
Windows is YOLO about it so EA is fine with it too.
Right now @ea_games servers are vulnerable to CVE-2009-3555, allowing unsafe TLS renegotiation.
They issued a WONTFIX because it was discovered by Linux users, and Windows does not currently patch or warn about the vuln.

Planned Parenthood is telling people, rightfully, to stop using period tracking apps, as they embed trackers that give data to authorities in anti-choice states.

WTF?
I have one free ticket to Off The Chain to give away.
Naturally I'll use this to promote #! and the free mentorship available to all.
First to say "otc" in our IRC room via one of our public shell servers gets the ticket.
