For almost a year, the Pentagon has withheld $400 million in congressionally approved security assistance to Ukraine, aid passed on a bipartisan basis for one clear purpose: defending a democratic ally under attack. Why is the Pentagon delaying authorized aid to Ukraine?

Watermain repair update:

Asphalt work at the intersection of Highbury Avenue North and Huron Street is now complete. Due to the thickness of the asphalt, crews are keeping traffic off the area for the remainder of the day to allow it to cool properly and ensure its longevity.

About a week ago, I launched aboard the Artemis II mission with four of my besties. Since then, I have been serving a very important purpose aboard the Orion spacecraft… I float. (And I look cute.)

Prime Minister Mark Carney had a video call with the astronauts on Artemis II, and as he quickly learned, the lag is real when you're talking to space.

Speaking primarily with mission specialist Jeremy Hansen, who is Canadian, Carney commended the crew on their bravery, their willingness to take risks and to learn from failure, especially for the young people watching.

These astronauts are just a balm: impossibly cheery, down to earth, committed, decent. They are clearly extraordinary people, and yet reassuringly normal. At a time when the news is dominated by people who are either cruel or corrupt or insane or incompetent or all of the above, they remind us not all is lost.
