Today is World Cancer Day which has some obvious personal significance this year. I know just how important early diagnosis and treatment can be and what our amazing NHS can do. If you do have any worries or concerns, please please do get them checked out. #WorldCancerDay
Very touched by all of the kind messages. Thank you! Will respond as best I can, but still on strong pain killers and sleeping quite a lot. As part of recovery I do still need to do regular exercise so am (carefully) back on the treadmill! Recovery literally is step by step! 🏃♂️
Discharged from hospital last night following surgery to remove my somewhat troublesome right lung. The care & treatment I received from our amazing #NHS & the truly heroic people working within it was utterly outstanding. Next step rehab & recovery but keeping positive & upbeat.
I'd like to pay tribute to our fantastic @LBofBexley staff for all they've done to support our residents in challenging times this year. The months ahead will be very tough for them following Cabinet's decision tonight which proposes to cut 304 FTE of posts in this year’s budget
Congratulations to our #AoCBeacons finalists - announced today during #FESummit. There have been many outstanding applications with many colleges involved - a huge thank you for sending them in. Find out which have made it through here: https://t.co/mM3Qb57O5r #LoveOurColleges
Really looking forward to a month of festive fund raising for #Fefoodbank2020 and the National Virtual Santa Dash - sounds like a great reason to get a new hat 🎅 😂🎄
There is a brilliant Twitter challenge doing the rounds today, showing the breadth of jobs available and the various routes people took to get there. But let's expand it further...
What's your job now and what academic / vocational qualifications did you do at college / uni?
