November 1 is Take Our Kids to Work Day for Grade 9's to attend a place of work of a parent, relative, or friend for a learning opportunity.
The day encourages Grade 9 students to explore the world of work.
The day is a fun interactive time to support career exploration.
Today we celebrate World Teachers’ Day! We are fortunate to have amazing teachers who inspire students to excel in learning, succeed in life and enrich our communities. KPR educators, your passion, hope, curiosity and innovation are truly appreciated.
@13_Engines@CBudz92@CP24 It was in 2019-2020. Cut short by COVID shutting down Ontario schools. Government quickly stopped fighting against ETFO and agreed to proposal.
Today is National Principals’ Day! We acknowledge the important work of our principals & vice-principals as educational leaders who work each day to ensure the overall success, growth & wellbeing of our school communities. We celebrate their valuable contributions & their impact!
Today, we wear pink to stand up against bullying! On #PinkShirtDay we celebrate our differences & promote kindness & compassion to ensure our schools continue to be safe and inclusive places for everyone. It’s important that we stand up against bullying every day, all year long!
We hope to see your pink shirts tomorrow, KPR! Join your school community in standing up against bullying and lifting each other up on #PinkShirtDay and all year round!
A reminder that Bowmanville High School is hosting a Grade 8 Information Night & Open House tonight at 6:00pm. A great opportunity for future students to learn about the exciting opportunities that await them @BowmanvilleHS! https://t.co/yCIo2m1mQA

@TheTorontoSun@brianlilley Actually, the average was around 10,000 students a year increase, except for the 2020-2021 year with COVID. I guess there wasn't a lot of confidence in the Ontario plan for dealing with COVID in schools.
@Sflecce I invite you to join my class for a day, which only has an EA for 30 minutes. You might change your mind when you see some of the students whom you have denied support for.
CUPE is there for kids. You really aren't.
