Elementary students should not be taking standardized tests. Because testing becomes the focus of education instead of learning. We take away the fun and excitement of learning, playing, exploring, & creating. We create test takers instead of problem solvers and innovators.
There are failing schools in all systems - charter, parochial, public & private. Bashing one system to promote another is weak and lacks real leadership. I’m looking for leaders that want to strengthen our schools alongside of hardworking & committed educators. Who’s in?

Education isn’t broken because of teachers. It’s broken because we ask teachers to be counselors, social workers, parents, and miracle workers—while still demanding perfect test scores. Fix the system, not the people holding it together.

Laws have swung too far the other way and it is time to protect our teachers. Rewrite Chapter 37 and review special program requirements. Our job is to prepare children for the real world, so why is assault not an assault when you are a young adult?
