Manatee recap: This week i played first in javelin and discus and got 2nd in shot which i recently started. After a season of struggles in javelin, it’s nice to have some other positives to lean on including a disc pr and throwing shot 13m last week JT-51.05 DT-41.28 Sp-12.95

GJ Invitational- Can’t complain with a first place season opener! I finished with a 49.05M season opener. Glad to be able to finally get back in to the rhythm of throwing. Still recovering from an ankle sprain and hoping to be able to do a full run up in the next few meets! 🥇🔒

ANOTHER PR!!!! On Wednesday I threw a new best of 51.51M (169’) Placing first at the Lakewood Ranch Jv Meet. This throw puts me 16” behind the best throw in Lakewood ranch history. I also placed first in discus with a 38.56M throw. 🥇 @CoachP_LRHS @CoachShack_ @Monoki @VJPortell

Lakewood Ranch sophomore @Lstjohn14 had never picked up a javelin until a little over a year ago.
