🔒No TGE Unlocks
No investors or contributors unlocking at TGE, 1 year cliff to ensure the token gets good organic distribution. Unlike many crypto teams we're not here for the short term, this is our 3rd year of building on @solana, with more to come. Our extensive product roadmap can be found in the footer tweet.

🛟Get Supply in the Hands of Zeta Chads
Sizeable 10% initial distribution to power users of Zeta. Skewed towards real traders who have supported the platform over the years (7%), traders from strongly aligned Solana communities (1%), as well as those who stake their airdrop to participate in ongoing governance (2%). We've seen this play out incredibly well for blue-chip Solana protocols like @JupiterExchange and @jito_sol

⌛️It Pays to be Long Term
We've tweaked the vote-escrow staking (pioneered by @CurveFinance ) which rewards how much you stake AND how long you stake it, where ours increases exponentially with time. Locking your precious $Z for longer gives you:
1. Increased governance power (govZ)
2. Increased share of trading incentives (see below)
3. Utility with respect to our L2 (more details to come)
Excited to continue experimenting with token mechanisms on Solana, a very under-explored space!

📈 Sustainable Incentives
30% (that's almost 1/3rd of all tokens that will ever exist) will be distributed to traders and LPs on Zeta over the next 90 months. It'll be like Z-score, except you now get tokens directly each month for trading rather than points.
I've read through the @dYdX forums at length and admire their success in using their token to bootstrapping DeFi's largest perps DEX + their plans towards sustainability. We endeavour to put the same quantitative rigour and research into our emissions and make sure the growth flywheel continues to spin rapidly.
