LNS Frosh/JV Meet Thursday:

Bree Carlson wins girls JV shot put (29-2.5) 🥇 and places 6th in JV discus (84-10).

Sawyer Bruggeman places 3rd in girls JV discus (95-5)

Aleah Boyd places 6th in girls JV shot put (25-0.5)

Taylor Oltman places 8th in girls JV discus (78-10)

Northern Colorado sophomore middle blocker Maddie Rink is a Lincoln Southwest grad and won the 2023 Class A state championship with the Silver Hawks. Rink earned the start for the Bears’ spring match in Chadron.

Rink played in 17 matches with five starts in 2025.

JV Meet continued:

@CameronMowitz and Westin True placed 4th and 6th in discus respectively.

Bree Carlson (29'7.25") and Aleah Boyd (28'3") both PR'd in shot put to place 2nd and 5th!

In our JV meet on Tuesday at Lincoln High:

@tracehamell10 PRs in disc, hitting 130 feet for the first time to place 1st and places 6th in shot put with a season best throw of 40'2.25"

Tim Bankole PRs in shot put with a throw of 42'9.25" to place 2nd!
