Thank you.
Thank you for your help today, 3 wonderful children and their mums, Rushmoor Binfluencers Edmund and Karen, residents Chris, Les and Abe. Not everyone are in photos. As you can see, we collected 12 bags of litter, a beanie chair, and reported a number of larger items.
Lovely day out by train to Moreton-in-Marsh in Gloucestershire on the edge of the Cotswolds. Four Shire Stone is where Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire all come together. So did Worcestershire prior to boundary changes in the distant past.
A glorious sunny day to win promotion to the Championship. Bolton beat Stockport County 4-1 in the League One Promotion Play-off Final at Wembley Stadium. After an inconsistent season, the team rose to the challenge in the play-offs and well deserved promotion.
Good performance by Bolton this evening. Off to Wembley again on 24th May, once I get my ticket, for the third time in three years - Bolton v Stockport County in the League One Play-off Final.
Have had a number of rail days out around the region this year. Today's wasn't far, Reading, but was very pleasant. Walked along the Thames Path, over Caversham Lock to View Island, on to where River Kennet joins the Thames, along the Kennet to the town centre and Reading Abbey.
At the Woking v Morecambe match this afternoon. A home win by 5-1 relegated Morecambe to the National League North, their third relegation in four seasons.
Today's FNCP litter pick at Prince Charles Crescent, Farnborough:
