Admittedly, I muted Miami Rick a while ago, but he used to talk about flying in productive informative tweets. Someone shared this post with me privately, and I guess I gave him a little too much credit.

I’m not a ‘feud’ type of guy, and I am not going to sit here and bully an industry colleague for clicks, but this is fucking bullshit

Now that the election is over and the candidate I voted for lost, I don’t give two shits about politics, candidates, and the never-ending shitshow that orbits that steaming 💩 of a topic.

He’s a guy who regularly cites his Captainship and the size of the airplane he flies, as some sort of indication that he commands respect for his “experience”. 60,000 people follow him, and it’s irresponsible when he peddles this sort of hyperbolic dystopian nonsense.

Make no mistake, the only danger posed by this #drones stuff is the mass hysteria and the danger that people in airplanes are in because of the increasing likelihood that somebody is going to shoot a gun at a manned airplane or helicopter.

But there was a reluctance to present/understand how families were still not out of the deep inflation hole. And too much masked by cherrypicking/misleading stats.
