Hospitality VAT cut to 5% remains until 30/09/21, it will then increase to 12.5% for 6 months.
Income tax t/hold will rise next year and then be frozen to 2026.
No change to VAT registration t/hold (£85k)
Corp tax will raise to 25% for corps with £250k+ profit
Today the Chancellor has announced an extension to the furlough scheme until October 2021.
Help for the self-employed in the form of self-employment grants will also be extended into September.
Dates and full details of the self-employment grants are yet to be announced.
HMRC has extended the self-assessment deadline to February 28th, 2021
Self-assessment customers won't receive a penalty for submitting tax returns between 31/01 and 28/02
Customers must still pay their tax bill by 31/01, and will receive interest on what they owe from 01/02.

The government have announced that the self-employed who were eligible for the two Covid grants earlier in the year will be eligible for a further two grants.
Portal for the first grant will open on the 30th of November.
Grants will be 80% of profit as opposed to 55% planned.
During the upcoming 'firebreak' lockdown our services will continue as normal. However, clients will not be able to enter the main office.
A box will be left in reception to pick-up/drop-off records.

To continue supporting over 150,000 businesses and protect 2.4 million jobs, the Government has extended the 15% VAT cut for the tourism and hospitality sectors to the end of March next year.
1/ Businesses who deferred their VAT will no longer have to pay a lump sum at the end of March next year. They will have the option of splitting it into smaller, interest free payments over the course of 11 months - benefitting up to half a million businesses
The application deadline for all coronavirus loan schemes – including the future fund - has been extended to 30 November ensuring even more businesses can benefit from government-backed support.
1/More than one million businesses which have borrowed under the Bounce Back Loan Scheme will be offered the choice of more time and greater flexibility for their repayments
The Self-Employment Income Support Scheme extension will support viable traders who are facing reduced demand over the winter months, covering 20 per cent of average monthly trading profits via a government grant.
From 1 November, for the next six months, the Job Support Scheme will protect viable jobs in businesses who are facing lower demand over the winter months due to Covid-19.
