Plenty of native species can be invasive if left unchecked, and it could be as bad or worse than an introduced species, specifically because it is familiar and may not be seen as an issue until it starts to choke out other species
@TLEbirdarchist really loved the episode with Braxton. If I can get a bit autistic myself, I don't think the debate of "native vs invasive" is complete enough and so somewhat inaccurate. Invasive carries a negative connotation, much like kudzu eating the south
I think the better argument is "native vs introduced", and " invasive vs not" is a specific argument for a particular species in a particular place and time.
