Who says you can't earn a bachelor's degree at a community college? @dallascollegetx is now home to TWO bachelor's degree programs thanks to the launch of our RN-B.S.N. program. Our first cohort launched earlier this month, with another class set to start this fall.
After over two decades of service, @dallascollegetx Trustee Charletta Rogers Compton is calling it a career! She joined the board in 2000 and in 2014 became our first Black female board chair. She’s also a Mountain View Campus alum. While she’ll be missed, her impact remains!

I had the honor and the pleasure of meeting one of my X friends in person at the Dallas College Bill J Priest Center. Chief Avera serve as Chief of Police and Emergency Manager for the Jacksonville ISD and is President for the Texas School District Police Chiefs’ Association.
Our Admin Office had our Holiday gathering today and it was wonderful. The camaraderie was great. The food was amazing. The fellowship is what helps bridge the divide internally as a police department. Way to end the year on a positive note. Let’s keep growing and glowing in 24.
