The 33rd Olympiad is just days away. I crunch the numbers, discuss what it means for Paris and the Olympic movement and briefly look forward to Friday’s unprecedented opening ceremony.

@lazqetjohnson Alot wrong in that south American side. Brazil 2002 was imo one of the great international teams. So not to see r9, Ronaldinho, cafu, Carlos for a start is baffling.

@Doz23 @ben_bowman_ Involved jumping over a few gates but nice way back to the torch whilst the crowds died down 👌

@Slots86 🤣

[Luke Richards @ltjrichards]

Unlike spurs to completely self destruct when being the better team..

[Luke Richards @ltjrichards]

Agree. Was at the game today and for all the pretty passing sometimes someone has to fucking shoot or take responsibility. I think our forwards lack confidence, but it will come.

Patience.

I wish we were good so I can complain about the penalty decisions that constantly fuck us over but now it seems like an excuse when it really isn’t supposed to be

Not good enough I'm afraid. Expected a bit a ropiness whilst everyone beds in. But if some of these lot are sold then all they blame is themselves
