Very pleased to see that ABC News in Australia has reported on what is happening to Hindus in Bangladesh and the horrific lynching of Dipu Das and mob murders of three other Hindus in recent days. Most western media outlets have totally ignored what is happening - including ignoring the Das murder. It is great that ABC News has covered this - as all impartial media should be doing. This is an excellent, thorough, well-researched report that went up today. Do read and share. https://t.co/mfUAGy86oX
🚨🚨🚨This large account (29+k) in Bangladesh is openly calling for ethnic cleansing of Hindus. They are calling for others to #TMD people. That means kill them.
#TMD is a call for genocide against the Hindu minority community in Bangladesh. It stands for "Total Malaun Death," a slur derived from the Arabic word "mal'un," meaning "accursed" or "deprived of God's mercy."
@elonmusk this isn't freedom of speech.
Sheikh Hasina expresses condolences on the passing of Begum Khaleda Zia
-
I extend my deepest condolences on the passing of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
As the first woman Prime Minister of Bangladesh, and for her role in the struggle to establish democracy, her contributions to the nation were significant and will be remembered. Her passing represents a profound loss for Bangladesh’s political life and for the leadership of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party.
I pray for the eternal peace and forgiveness of Begum Khaleda Zia’s soul.
I convey my sincere sympathies to her son, Tarique Rahman, and to the members of her bereaved family. I also extend my condolences to the wider BNP family. I hope that Almighty Allah grants them patience, strength, and comfort to endure this difficult time.

@Incognito_qfs@khanumarfa shame on you! You don’t know what are you saying? Have you lost your mind? We should criticise the both. But don’t say whether India has moral right to talk about it? What about the US and UK?
The brutal murder of a Hindu man called Dipu Chandra Das in Bangladesh by a Muslim crowd - for so called blasphemy allegations - proves the unacceptable grave danger of Hindus in Bangladesh (and Pakistan), and the barbarity of Islam.

@BDMILITARY Ha ha ha .. fake c account talking about war between India and Bangladesh.. funny .. come to Bangladesh.. why are you hiding in Australia … nonsense
Dipu Chandra Das, a Hindu man was lynched and set on fire, following allegations of blasphemy. There must be full accountability.
The grassroots’ ongoing calls for human rights, religious freedom, protections for minority groups, worker’s rights & trade union freedoms must be heeded to over mob violence.
